We are AFT Tulsa Local 6049. We represent the 2,000 support employees of Tulsa Public Schools. We are the bus drivers, the Para-Professionals, the clerks, the secretaries, the custodians, the security personnel. We are the cafeteria workers the parent facilitators the translators. We are the counselors, We are the grounds keepers. We cook it clean it maintain it file it schedule it. We are the backbone of the district.
