On March 29, 2012, members attending the AFT 6049 Oklahoma union meeting at Bell Elementary overwhelmingly ratified a new and updated Constitution for your local. This was the first step toward rejuvenating your local union and putting into place set of guidelines that your local union must use. This document provides details for the officers and Executive Board members to abide by as they move your local forward.
Members who worked on this document as it was being updated include Paul Lindsey, Ed McIntosh, Keymah Muhammad, Doug Franklin, Willye Jones, Nellie Mackey, and William Baker. A big thank you is in order for each of these individuals for giving some of their personal time and effort to help move this local forward and to make it stronger for all of the members.
