Special Assembly Meeting:

SUBMIT your NOMINATIONS for the 2014 Negotiations committee

Join us on 2/27/14 in the Local 6049 office to submit your top picks for the 2014 negotiations committee. Do you have what it takes to negotiate for your coworkers? You can nominate yourself! Do you have coworkers that would take a stand to negotiate and resolve the issues that matter to your department? Let’s hear it!

 

• ACCEPTED NOMINEES WILL BE GIVEN FREE TRAINING ON LABOR UNION NEGOTIATION PROCEDURES IN PREPARATION FOR THE UPCOMING CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS. Committee Members must be available for some evening/weekend training sessions.

 

• Handouts and key responsibilities of Negotiations Committee Members will be provided at this meeting. You may nominate yourself or a coworker, but all committee members must be current AFT union members. Local 6049 Officers will accept nominations for all TPS support employee departments, trades, and job classifications.

This is one of the most important meetings of the year. Don’t miss out, join us on 2/27 to decide who negotiates for YOU.
